About Us

WDFA is something that started out as an attitude to the amount of fun that was had back in 2000, but is now a motto for the type of entertainment we bring to our listeners.

WDFA Radio started (by close friends, Ian Moore aka Sleepy Freeman and Daniel Szabo) in 2016 out of Toronto's gem of a space, CTRL ROOM and since then, we have been able to curate great musical sets with many local exceptional DJ/Producers that are well established globally (as well as up and comers). We've had such names as Jason Hodges, MC Flipside, Don Sizzle, Chris Vench, GCue, Stay Lifted, LeBaron James, Scott 'Baller' Cochrane, Mi Casa Records, Rob DaBoom, Loopity Goofs, Miz Megs, Ticky Ty, Gene King, Rich Hope, Oliver Baptiste, MissKriss, Marcus De Re, Jason Fraser, Joonya T, Dungeon Kru (D&B), Jackman Jones, Jonathan McNeil, Justin Corrado and Corey Dawkins come through our show. We've even had a show with international star, Hector Moralez as a guest.

Mission

Our love for underground music inspired us to create this platform that not only provides the world an ear to the music that fills the Toronto underground/club scene, but also gives free promotion to our guests through social media (Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Mixcloud). We also provide an audio copy of their appearance to the guest for their own use.

We have near future plans to expand into more social events and merchandise.
